Fatal Collision on Bank Street: Police Seeking Witnesses

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigations Unit is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred yesterday, Tuesday, January 2.

At approximately 4:55 p.m., officers were called to the 1600 block of Bank Street in response to a collision involving a motor vehicle and an elderly pedestrian.

The elderly pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where they succumbed to critical injuries.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
