Fatal Collision on West Hunt Club Road: Seeking Witnesses

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit is investigating a collision that occurred on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

At approximately 4:15 p.m., first responders were called to a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on West Hunt Club Road near Cleopatra Drive.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 31-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured.

Victim support services were offered to all of the witnesses at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

A portion of West Hunt Club Road was closed in both directions for several hours to process the scene. The road has since reopened.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
