Fatal motor vehicle collision Moodie Drive / Old Richmond Road

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Collisions Unit is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision near the intersection of Moodie Drive and Old Richmond Road.

Police were called to the intersection at approximately 4:30am when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at that location.

Police are asking motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area as road closures are in effect along Moodie Drive between Tyrrell Place and Old Richmond Road.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed, assisted emergency responders, or may have dashcam footage of this incident that have not yet spoken to police.
