Help identify a person of interest in Kenwood Avenue fire

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service is asking for help to identify a person of interest in relation to a suspicious fire.
On December 1, 2024, at approximately 6 a.m., the Ottawa Police were called as part of a tiered response with Ottawa Fire Services to a residential fire in the 400 block of Kenwood Avenue.
Between 5:40 a.m. and 5:50 a.m., a person is seen on video surveillance running in the area. This person may have witnessed the incident or have helpful information for police.
The individual was seen wearing all black and running towards Roosevelt Avenue.
Anyone with information about this person or incident is asked to contact the Arson Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2202 or by email at arson@ottawapolice.ca.
