Hit and Run Collision on Meadowlands Drive: police seeking witnesses

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, October 26, 2020   1:45pm 

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Collision Investigation Unit is looking for any witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Fisher Avenue and Meadowlands Drive on September 22, 2020. 

At approximately 8:17pm, a pedestrian was crossing on the crosswalk when a grey Honda Civic accelerated while turning into the crosswalk and struck the pedestrian. The vehicle did not remain on the scene. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries.

 Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have information about this incident.
