Homicide investigation on Farmers Way: seeking video surveillance from area businesses and residents

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is seeking assistance from residents and business owners in the area of Farmers Way.

Investigators are requesting that all residents and business owners in the area of Farmers Way, Anderson Road, Thunder Road and Piperville Road verify their video security systems for any suspicious activity between the hours of 2:00 am and 4:00 am on August 19^th.

Homicide Investigation on Farmers Way: Victim identified and police seeking video

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit has identified the victim as 26-year-old Granit Ahmeti of Ottawa.

Investigators are seeking surveillance video from residents and persons who may have been in the area at the time of the incident.

Homicide Investigating on Farmers Way

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 4000 block of Farmers Way early this morning.

Police and emergency responders were called to the area at approximately 3:45 a.m. after people witnessed a shooting.

Officers located a 26-year-old man, with gunshot wounds who has succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
