Charges laid in Pondhollow Way homicide

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit has arrested and charged two people in relation to the January 10th homicide of Wilson Sabarros on Pondhollow Way.
Mia TEJADA, a 28-year-old woman and Omar ASSAAD, a 26-year-old man, both of Ottawa have been jointly charged with First Degree Murder.
They will both appear in court today.
Investigators are still asking anyone with information in relation to this incident contact the Homicide Unit at 613-236-1222 extension 5493.

Pondhollow Way homicide victim identified
(Ottawa) – The victim of the homicide on Pondhollow Way on Friday, January 10, is identified as Wilson Sabarros, 58, of Ottawa.
The investigation is ongoing.

Homicide Investigation – Pondhollow Way
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating the death of an adult male on Pondhollow Way.
Police were called to the area at approximately 5:16 p.m. today. Once on scene, officers located a deceased 58-year-old man.
No arrests have been made. Police do not believe there is an ongoing risk to public safety. The investigation is ongoing.
The victim is not being identified at this time, pending next of kin notification.
