Investigators looking for the suspect in an aggravated assault on Murray Street

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Investigations Unit is seeking to identify the suspect of an aggravated assault that occurred on July 6, 2022.
Between 11:30 pm and 11:45 pm, a male victim was assaulted in the downstairs washroom of a restaurant in the 100 block of Murray Street.
The suspect was described as a middle eastern male, approximately 25 years old, thin build, very short beard, approximately 6 feet (183 cm) tall, wearing a baseball jersey and a New York Yankees Baseball cap, with gold chain and rings on both his hands.
He was in the company of two males who, along with the suspect, threatened to shoot and stab the victim’s friends outside.
