Investigators seeking assistance into an Assault near Deschamps and Durocher Streets
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, July 14, 2021 1:30am
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Central Investigations Section is seeking the public’s help in order to identify two suspects responsible for an Assault that occurred in the area of Deschamps Street and Durocher Street on May 21, 2021.
At approximately 9:00pm, Frontline officers responded to the area and located a 43-year-old man with extensive facial injuries. According to witnesses, he had just been a victim of an unprovoked Assault.
The suspects fled the area prior to police arrival. They are described as men in their 30’s.
Following the Assault, it is believed that the suspects fled on foot in the direction of Carillon Street and Baribeau Streets.
Investigators are asking residents in this area who may have video surveillance or doorbell camera footage, or anyone with information about this incident that have not yet spoken to Police, to contact the Central Investigations Section at 613-236-1222 ext. 5166.
