Join us tomorrow for the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics: Freezin’ for a Reason!

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service invites you to join us at the Annual Polar Plunge for Special Olympics, taking place at TD Place on Friday, March 1st.
This event is held in partnership with the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run (OLETR) and raises much-needed funds for the athletes and families of Special Olympics Ontario.
This year’s Plunge will benefit the 2025 Special Olympics Ontario School Championships, hosted by the Ottawa Police Service and the City of Ottawa from June 3-5th. All proceeds from this event will support the athletes and help ensure their participation in the 2025 games, which offer children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy of sports, camaraderie, and competition.
Event Details:
Registration: Opens at 12pm at South Side Concourse (west end)
Opening Remarks: 1pm
Plunges Start: 1:20pm
