Male suspect to identify following bank robbery on Woodroffe Avenue
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, December 16, 2019 2:07pm
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is investigating a robbery that occurred on Monday, December 9, 2019 at approx. 10:10am.
One male armed with a handgun entered a bank in the 3000 block of Woodroffe Avenue, jumped the counter and robbed the bank. The male then took off in a white Hyundai Elantra plated Manitoba that was driven by another black male.
The robbery suspect is described as a dark skinned male, in his early 20s, 5’9 to 6’ (180 to 183cm), medium build. He was wearing all black clothing and carrying a Goodlife Fitness bag (see photos).
There are no reported injuries.
