Male suspect to identify in Klondike Road commercial robbery

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for assistance from the public in identifying a male suspect involved in a robbery in the West End of Ottawa.
On Friday October 18, 2019, shortly after 7:00 p.m, a disguised male suspect, armed with a handgun, entered a bank in the 1100 block of Klondike Road. He approached a teller who was standing in front of the counter, pushed the teller and pointed the gun at several tellers demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approx. 5’11” (180cm), 200 to 210 lbs (91-95kg). He was wearing a black or dark green zipped up jacket, camouflage hooded shirt or sweater, navy blue sweat pants, green fluorescent gloves, black ski mask with the eyes cut out, black running shoes with white colour around the sole. He fled the area in what is believed to be a white vehicle.
