Man charged following fatal collision on Regional Road 174 – Police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) — An Ottawa man has been charged following a fatal collision that occurred at approximately 3:00am on Saturday July 9^th on Regional Road 174 at the Highway 417 junction. 

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information specific to a red Jaguar Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and/or a light-coloured passenger vehicle travelling East bound on Highway 417 in the area of the St-Laurent Exit to the Regional Road 174 junction at or around the time of the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, saw involved vehicles, may have dashcam footage or has information regarding this incident and has not yet spoken to police is asked to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2481.
