Man charged with Sexual Offences, police seeking other victims

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit charged a man following an investigation into sexual assaults that occurred between May and September of 2023.  The incidents occurred in Ottawa. 

Charles BAIN, 76 years old, of Ottawa was charged with:

• Sexual Assault x2
• Sexual Exploitation of a person with disability x2

He is scheduled to appear in court today.

The sexual assaults occurred while BAIN was volunteering for an organization that cares for persons with cognitive and intellectual disabilities.

SACA investigators believe there could be other victims.
