Man still wanted in relation to February Dalhousie Street Shooting

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is still seeking public assistance to locate a wanted man in relation to the shooting incident in the 400 block of Dalhousie Street on February 11^th, 2021.

Jama ROBLE, 30 years old, of Ottawa is described as a black man, 6’1 (185cm), 214 lbs (97kg), with black hair (see photo).

ROBLE is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach and call 9-11 immediately.

Update: Woman arrested, and man wanted in relation to Dalhousie Street Shooting

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit has charged a woman and are requesting public assistance to locate a man that is wanted by Police in relation to the shooting in the 400 block of Dalhousie Street on February 11^th, 2021 that injured a 65-year-old male.

Zynab AHMED, 21 years old, of Ottawa, has been charged in relation to this shooting. AHMED is charged with:

• Robbery using a firearm
• Discharging a Firearm with Intent
• Aggravated Assault
• Occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm
• Possession of a Loaded Regulated Firearm

AHMED has been released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court March 30th.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jama ROBLE, 30 year old man, of Ottawa. He is wanted and his current whereabouts remain unknown. ROBLE is described as a black man, 6’1 (185cm), 214 lbs (97kg), with black hair (see photo).

Shooting investigation on Dalhousie Street: seeking witnesses and video footage

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 400 block of Dalhousie Street on February 11^th 2021. 

At approximately 3:09pm, Frontline patrol officers responded to a shooting and a 65 year old  male was located with serious but non life-threatening injuries.  He was treated and transported to a local hospital by Ottawa Paramedic Service. 

No suspect has been arrested and the shooting is believed to be a targeted incident. 

Investigators would like to speak with witnesses and anyone with dash camera/surveillance video footage.
