Man to identify in Blackheath Street Break and Enter

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a residential break and enter that occurred in the 1400 block of Blackheath Street in Orleans.
On February 20th at approximately 7:20pm, an unidentified male was observed attempting to enter a residence on Blackheath Street in Orleans. The male is believed to have arrived and left the area on foot.
The person of interest is described as a Black male in his fifties with a moustache. He was wearing a blue parka jacket with a fur-lined hood, beige pants and a red Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap (see photos).
Anyone with information regarding this incident or any other break & enter is asked to call the Ottawa Police Break & Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 3435.
