Man Wanted in York Street Shooting Investigation

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is seeking public tips to locate a man who is wanted in relation to a shooting on York Street early Friday morning, and releasing his photo.
The shooting left several people injured.
Michael MEEHAN, 28 years old, is wanted for multiple charges including Aggravated assault, Assault with a weapon (x4), Pointing a firearm (x4) and Carrying a concealed weapon.
Police have not recovered the firearm involved in this incident.
Tyler MEEHAN, 25 years old, is also wanted for Assault in relation to the investigation.

York Street Shooting Investigation: Police Seek Witnesses
(Ottawa)—The Guns and Gangs Unit is seeking witnesses to a shooting that occurred in the 1-100 block of York Street early this morning that left several people injured.
At approximately 2:20 a.m., police received several 911 calls reporting a shooting in the area.
Three men were located on scene with gunshot wounds. They were treated and transported to the hospital by Ottawa Paramedics.
After the incident, police received information that two other men may have also been injured in this incident. One of these men attended a hospital outside of Ottawa for treatment. All five victims are currently in stable condition.
Investigators are working to determine if these injuries are connected.
There is no suspect in custody.
Investigators are looking to speak to any witnesses who may have information or video footage of the shooting or events directly prior or after.
