Mischief incident at Memorial construction site - police seeking public tips

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigations Unit is seekingthe public’s assistance in relation to a Mischief that occurred at the construction site of the Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Ottawa, located in the 300 block of Wellington Street. 

The temporary signage attached to a construction fence, announcing the Memorial, was defaced on or about July 1st, 2020.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigations Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5166.
