Montreal Road shooting investigation

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred this morning.

At approximately 7:25 am, a victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound was located in the 1-100 block of Bruyere Street.

Investigators determined that the incident took place on Montreal Road just east of St. Laurent Boulevard between 6:30 am and 7:10 am.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information, cell phone footage, or any other video of the incident is asked to contact the Central Criminal Investigations Unit or the Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5166, or 5050.
