Ottawa man charged following an incident on Central Park Drive

(Ottawa) – Ottawa Police have arrested and charged a 24 year-old man after an incident Wednesday evening.

On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at approximately 9:25 pm, officers responded to a call at Central Park Drive after a woman was approached and grabbed by an unknown man wearing a shirt over his head outside of her apartment building.

While the man was attempting to pull the woman away, witnesses came to her assistance and called police.

Police arrested the man without further incident.

A 24-year-old male has been charged with:

·         Assault (x2)

·         Disguise with intent
