Ottawa Police investigating a report of a male entering the Ottawa River

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, December 10th, 2015 at 11:30pm 

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is actively investigating the report of a male who was observed entering the Ottawa River and not resurfacing. This incident occurred in the vicinity of Remic Rapids at approximately 4:00pm this afternoon. The only description of the person is an adult male dressed in dark clothing. Anyone with information in regards to this matter is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Communications Centre at 613-230-6211.
