(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is thrilled to announce the upcoming annual Police Week community events, which will happen from May 12 to 18, 2024, city-wide.
Throughout the week, we invite you to come out and enjoy a free BBQ and meet your Community Police Officers! Play a game of soccer with our OPS Blues, basketball with our OPS Hoopstars, and play with our inflatable games from Party Time Inflatables, courtesy of the Capital Prosperity Foundation!
- May 14 | Carlington Park (1520 Caldwell Avenue) | 4 to 7 p.m.
- May 15 | Greely Village Park (7292 Parkway Road) | 4 to 7 p.m.
- May 16 | McNabb Park (180 Percy Street) | 4 to 7 p.m.
Police Week is an opportunity for us to celebrate our strong relationships and partnerships with the communities we serve. This year's theme, “Join Policing: Keep Ontario Safe,” highlights the crucial role of policing as a career and public service. It's a time for us to reflect on the dedication of our police officers and professionals, who work diligently to ensure the safety and security of our community.
We believe that by working together, we can create safer and more vibrant neighbourhoods for everyone.
Let's come together to celebrate and strengthen our police-community partnerships for a safer, brighter future for all.
We’ll see you there!
