Persons to identify in relation to Clarence Street stabbing
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, September 1, 2020 12:06pm
(Ottawa) – Frontline Officers responded to an assault in the area of Dalhousie Street and Clarence Street on Friday, August 21st.
At approximately 2:11am, a group of men began to fight. One man was stabbed; and he suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. Another man received minor injuries as a result of the altercation. Three suspects fled the area.
The first suspect is described as a Black man in his 20’s. He was wearing a black t-shirt and grey loose fit pants. His head/face was covered with a hood or ski mask. He was wearing running shoes that are black with maybe some red in them. (see photos).
The second suspect is described as a Black man in his 20’s. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black baseball cap, a silver necklace and white running shoes (see photo).
The third suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 20’s with a beard. He was wearing a red sweater/hoodie with silver heart logo, grey sports shorts, Air Jordan running shoes with a yellow base and a black top and a black satchel crossed over his body (see photos).
Investigators would like to speak with a woman who may have information about the incident.
She is described as a woman in her 20’s with long brown hair. She was wearing a grey sweater, jean shorts, fluffy slippers, a black purse and wearing a blue mask (see photo).
