Police investigating a serious collision on Bank Street
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, November 8, 2024 12:25 pm
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a collision that occurred early this morning on Bank Street near Johnston Road.
At approximately 12:45 am, officers responded to a hit and run collision involving the driver of a vehicle and cyclist.
The cyclist, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and remains in stable condition.
There is no description of the vehicle at this time, only that it may have left the scene northbound on Bank Street.
Police would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
