Police seek public’s help identifying two sexual assault suspects
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section is asking for the public’s help in identifying two men in relation to a sexual assault that happened in the early morning hours on January 22 in Ottawa.
A dark coloured 4-door sedan with two men stopped and engaged the victim in conversation while she waited for a taxi in Gatineau. She accepted a ride and once home, they made an excuse to come inside, where she was sexually and physically assaulted.
Suspect 1 is described as a Black male, about 30 years old, 5’6” (168 cm) tall, slim, muscular build, black hair worn long on top and shorter on the sides, no facial hair, and a noticeable scar under his right eye. He spoke English with an accent and wore a white track suit with a black pattern of tiger faces and black stripes down the arms and legs over a red t-shirt and black high-top sneakers with white soles.
Suspect 2 is described as a Black male, about 30 years old, 5’10” (178 cm) tall, slim, muscular build, black hair in dreadlocks or twists, long on top short on the sides. He spoke English with an accent and wore a white track suit with black tiger faces and black stripes down the arms and legs over a white t-shirt and a yellow puffer jacket over top, white Nike sneakers with a red swoosh. Photos are attached.
The vehicle is described as a dark red or black 4 door sedan. The interior and exterior were clean.
