Police seek witnesses to shooting incident on Chatelain Avenue

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred last evening in the 1300 block of Chatelain Avenue on March 22, 2022.

Frontline Patrol officers attended the scene after receiving information from Ottawa Paramedic Service that a man in his 20’s attended a local hospital around 8:00 pm in critical condition, suffering from a gunshot wound. He is now in serious but stable condition.

Investigators are seeking any witnesses to this incident, and asking anyone with information or who may have been in the area at the time and may have dashcam or security footage to contact the Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050.
