Police seek witnesses to shooting incident on Fenton Road
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, June 9, 2022 12:37 pm
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at a business in the 2700 block of Fenton Road last evening and resulted in a 28-year-old man suffering life-threatening injuries.
Police received a call for service at 7:17 pm and attended the area where the man was found with multiple gunshot injuries, then was treated and transported to a local hospital by Ottawa Paramedics.
The victim is now in stable condition. He is not cooperating with the police investigation. There is no suspect description available at this time.
Investigators believe that the suspect(s) fled in a white Toyota vehicle.
Investigators are seeking any witnesses to this incident and asking anyone with information or who may have been in the area at the time and may have dashcam or security footage to contact the Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050.
