Police seek witnesses to shooting incident on Russell Road

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting incident involving two vehicles that occurred on June 7^th at approximately 8:55 pm in a parking lot located in the 2000 block of Russell Road.

Investigators found multiple shell casings at the scene and determined that one male from each vehicle exited their respective vehicle and gunfire was exchanged. There are no reported injuries, at this time; and there is no suspect description available.      

Investigators are seeking any witnesses to this incident and asking anyone with information or who may have been in the area at the time and may have dashcam or security footage to contact the Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050.
