Police seeking witnesses to a fatal collision involving a pedestrian on March Rd

(Ottawa) – Collision Unit Investigators are seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred last evening in the city’s west end.
At approximately 5:30 pm on December 2nd, Frontline patrol officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on March Road about 200 metres North of the Teron Rd intersection.
The pedestrian, a 38 year old man from Ottawa, was crossing March Road eastbound when he got struck by a 2021 red Kia Forte that was travelling northbound on March Rd. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed, assisted emergency responders or may have dash cam footage of this incident that have not yet spoken to police.
