Police seeking witnesses to a fatal collision on Donald Street

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Collision Unit Investigators are seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred on March 17^th, 2022. 

At approximately 4:50pm, Frontline patrol officers responded to a collision at the intersection of Donald Street and North River Road involving a cyclist and a City of Ottawa Grader.

The cyclist, a 43-year old woman was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The driver of the City vehicle was not injured.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or assisted emergency responders or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
