Police seeking witnesses to a fatal collision on Joliffe Street

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Collision Unit Investigators are seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred on Monday, July 4^th, 2022. 

At approximately 9:23 am, Frontline patrol officers responded to the collision involving a City of Ottawa contracted waste collection vehicle and a pedestrian in the 2400 block of Joliffe Street.

The 70 year old pedestrian later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
