Police seeking witnesses to a vehicle collision on West Hunt Club Road

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, December 14^th, 2021 10:10 am

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Collision Unit is investigating a collision that occurred on West Hunt Club Road approximately 500 metres East of Cedarview Road in the city’s west end on December 13^th, 2021.

At approximately 5:30 pm, Frontline patrol officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a 2021 blue Mazda CX30 and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 30 year old man, was treated on scene by Paramedics before being transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in serious condition in hospital. The driver was not injured.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed, assisted emergency responders, or may have dash cam footage of this incident that have not yet spoken to police.
