Project Whitewater results in four arrests and drug-related charges

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Guns and Gangs Unit concluded a drug trafficking investigation titled “Project Whitewater” this week where three men and a woman were arrested and charged with drug-related offences.
The police investigation commenced in March 2022, and it culminated with search warrants being executed earlier this week at three residences - in Kanata North, Kanata Lakes and Pembroke.
A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old man from Ottawa were arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine and also cocaine possession offences.
A 38-year-old man from Eganville and a 49-year-old woman from Pembroke were arrested by the OPP and charged with fentanyl possession offences.
They will not be identified publicly at this time. Further charges may be laid.
The OPS wishes to thank our partners from the OPP Community Street Crime Unit, Pembroke detachment for their assistance during the operation.
