Public assistance sought to identify suspect of several residential break and enters

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit is requesting the public’s assistance to identify a suspect in relation to a rash of residential break and enters in the Hintonburg, Fairmont Park, and Centretown West neighbourhoods of the City.
Since December 9, 2021, there have been 10 residential break and enters in these areas that are believed to be committed by the same man. He is described as a Caucasian man, 6’(183cm) with a medium build. During one incident, he was wearing a black North Face coat with a hood, tan pants, grey Timberland boots, and a black mask (see photos).
Anyone with information as to the identity of this individual or any break and enters is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 4533.
