Richmond Road shooting: police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred on Richmond Road on February 2, 2022.

Shortly after 9 p.m., the Ottawa Police Service was made aware of a man who had presented to hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

It’s believed that the incident occurred along the side of Richmond Road, between McEwen and New Orchard.

Investigators are seeking any witnesses to the incident, and asking anyone with information or who may have been in the area at the time and may have dashcam or security footage to contact the Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050.
