Robbery on Murray Street – suspect to identify
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, September 24, 2019 1:25pm
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect in a robbery that occurred on August 27, 2019 at 10:15pm in the 200 block of Murray Street.
Two male suspects met the victim who had agreed to sell a few items, and a dispute ensued.
One suspect began to punch the victim; and the second suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspects took the items and fled the area.
One suspect has been identified as a 22 year old male and the other suspect is still unknown at this time.
The unknown suspect is described as a Black male in his twenties. He was wearing a black Adidas style jacket at the time of the incident (see attached pictures).
