Robbery with a knife investigation in Nepean area

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a business in the 1400 block of Highgate Road on August 5, 2022.

At approximately 12:00 a.m., the suspect entered the store and ordered cigarettes. When asked to pay, he brandished a knife. He fled on foot with the stolen cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6’0” (183 cm) feet tall, average build, 25 - 30 years old, balding with a buzz cut, long unkept beard, soul patch and long moustache. He was wearing a gray athletic T-shirt, black shorts with a white logo on the right leg and black shoes with a shine, possibly no laces. (see photos).
