Update: Fatal Collision on Blohm Drive: police seeking witnesses

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, April 1, 2024 1:30 p.m

(Ottawa) - The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigation Unit has confirmed that the 39-year-old driver who suffered critical injuries on March 30 on has succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident who have not yet spoken to police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.

Serious Collision on Blohm Drive: police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigations Unit is seeking witnesses to a serious collision that occurred on the afternoon of Saturday, March 30, 2024.

At approximately 2:57 p.m., officers were called near the intersection of Blohm Dr and Hunterswood Crescent in response to a collision between a motor vehicle and an OC Transpo bus.

A person suffered critical injuries in the collision.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam/doorbell footage of this incident but has not yet spoken to police.
