Seventh Annual Ottawa Police Diversity Celebration

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is pleased to announce that it will host its annual Diversity Celebration on Tuesday, June 20, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 474 Elgin Street. 

The OPS Diversity Celebration is held in recognition of Canadian Multiculturalism Day, National Indigenous Peoples Day, and as part of Welcoming Ottawa Week.  

It is an opportunity to celebrate the diversity in our city and the richness of cultures that make up Canada’s mosaic. 

As in years past, celebrations will include music, food, and entertainment which is generously donated by our communities. The event will also include the swearing-in of new Canadian Citizens by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. 

All members of the public and media are invited to attend this event.  

Please feel free to drop by to sample culturally ethnic treats, enjoy the atmosphere and celebrate Ottawa’s multiculturalism.
