Sexual Assault suspect identified and charged, following an incident last February

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit has charged the individual in this incident.
Danny NAHIMANA RUMURI, 40, of Ottawa has been charged with:
- Sexual assault x2
- Harassment by threatening conduct to other person
He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
Investigators believe that there may be other incidents and are seeking further victims.

Sexual Assault suspect to be identified, following an incident last February
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit is seeking public assistance to identify a male suspect involved in a sex assault that occurred at a home on Albert Street, in the late evening of February 28th 2024.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’4” (193 cm). He was wearing a Lakers tuque, a burgundy scarf and a black parka.
