Shooting investigation in Carlington: police seeking witnesses

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, August 3, 2021   12:55pm    

(Ottawa) — The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1400 block of Caldwell Avenue, last evening.

At approximately 11:15pm on August 2^nd, 2021, a 15 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound approached a patrol vehicle in the area requesting help. The man was transported to the hospital by Ottawa paramedics and is now in stable condition.

The suspect remains at large and there is no description yet available.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about this incident and residents in the area who may have security footage.
