Shooting investigation on Grenon Ave: seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) — The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning in the 1000 block of Grenon Avenue.

At approximately 00:41 am on September 24^th, 2021, Frontline Officers responded to a call for shots fired. On scene, they located property damage caused by bullets.

Shortly after the incident, a 21 year old man drove himself to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds. It is believed he was involved in the shooting. The injuries are not considered as life-threatening.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about this incident. They are also looking for anyone who may have been in the area and may have dashcam footage or security footage.
