Shooting investigation on Iris Street: seeking witnesses

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, January 6, 2021   3:40pm

(Ottawa) – Frontline Patrol Officers responded to a shooting near Iris Street and Southwood Drive on January 5^th. 

At approximately 7:40 pm, a witness heard several gunshots and called 9-1-1. Responding officers located casings in the area. Officers later located a damaged vehicle. No one with injuries was located. 

Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or who may have dash-cam video or other video footage of the area at the time of the incident.
