Shooting investigation on Montreal Road: seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning in the 2100 block of Montreal Road.

At approximately 5:30am on October 1^st, 2021, Frontline Officers responded to a call for shots fired. Once on scene, officers located evidence confirming a shooting had occurred. No one was injured.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about this incident. They are also looking for anyone who may have been in the area and may have dashcam footage or security footage.
