(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting which occurred at approximately 5:00pm in the 1000 block of Ashmont St. A single victim sustained a gunshot wound. Investigators believe that the incident was targeted and that there is no imminent risk to the public.
