Shooting investigations: seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating two separate shootings that occurred on February 9^th, 2021. 

At approximately 12:15am, Frontline patrol officers responded to a call about gunshots heard in the area of Macy Boulevard. Responding officers did not locate property damage, nor was anyone with injuries located in that area. 

At approximately 4:40pm, a 22 year old man showed up at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. He is in stable condition. 

These are two separate incidents and are not linked. 

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about either incident.
