Shooting on Rideau Street

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday, June 15.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of Rideau and Dalhousie Streets. A man in his 20s was located with non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information related to this incident, cell phone footage, or any other video of the incident who has not yet spoken with police to contact the Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5050.
