Shots fired in Chapel Hill South: police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Leita Place and Percifor Way area on Saturday, January 1^st, 2022.

At approximately 1:30am, Frontline patrol officers responded to a call about shots fired. On scene, they located multiple spent shell casings and property damage to some nearby residences and parked vehicles. No injuries were reported.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about this incident. They are also looking for anyone who may have been in the area at the time or those who have dashcam or security footage.
