Suspect involved in a series of indecent acts in the Sandy Hill area to identify

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit is advising the community that they are looking into a series of indecent acts occurring in the Sandy Hill area. 

There have been 5 reported incidents since January 2022 involving a lone male exposing his genitals. Incidents have occurred between 11:30 pm and 4:30 am in the 100 block area of Stewart Street and the 200 block area of Daly Avenue.

The suspect has been described by witnesses as a Black man in his thirties.  No photo of the suspect is available at this time.

We are asking the public to be vigilant and to contact police if they witness any similar incidents.
