Suspect to identify following a commercial robbery on Eagleson Road

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, December 27, 2023  11:40 am

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for a robbery in the 700 block of Eagleson Road in Kanata on December 7^th. 

At approximately 4:45 pm, the suspect entered the premise and stole a quantity of merchandise.  The suspect then assaulted a store employee who attempted to apprehend him.   

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30’s, 5’8” (173cm), with a stocky build and a dark beard. He wore a tan-coloured parka, a dark tuque, and dark clothing (see photos).
